TRANSRELATION – International Symposium of Contemporary Arts

The symposium issues are the following:
- Labelling of a location:contemporary art sceneof Georgia
2. Biennale – magic remedy for establishment of an art scene?
3. Perspectives – alternatives and consequences
4. Workshop:Recipes for GeorgiaWorkshop is planned for 5 october, second part of a day.
The discussion and conclusion of the view-points, concerning the above notes issues, will take place there. Structure of the project:
· Organisation: project will be carried out by the curator and the working group (with particiation of the Goethe Institute Georgia);
· Participants of the symposium: 10-12 curators/experts from Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Poland, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia;
· Supporters: Goethe Institute Georgia, Ministry of Culture, Monument Protecton and Sports of Georgia, OSGF;
· Partners: “Artisterum,” Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, organisations of contemporary visual arts, mass media;
